Party lite, pleasure party, discovery toys, giggle party. How do i choose what comapany?
I have been looking into many direct sales programs (avon, partylite, passion parties, giggle parties, discovery toys, just to name a few. If you are a consultant of this type or have been, i would like to know your opionion. If you have been a customer of any of these companies i would like your opinion of the products and the company. Which do you think would be most successful. I am a 20 year old married college student and a mom. I am definatly a people person so I think any type of company like this would be a good option. I would appriciate anyones response. Thanks.

- well i've done partylite & tupperware...it can get expensive if u dont have the money to throw in to get urself really going i suggest that u dont do it...if u have the money & u know LOTS of ladies that would enjoy having those types of parties and u know they are gonna spend MONEY then go for it!!!
- I have been selling porn for 15 yrs, a lady I know started having sex toy partys in L.A. and in two years she had 6 women working for her and now stays home and answers the phone. Sex always sells, even in bad times
- Tupperware, candles, makeup, etc. are all wastes of time and money for 99% of the people who try to sell it. Sex toys, depending on your area, may work. Just remember, you need to spend money to make money. You can't spend $100 and expect to become independantly wealthy.
- Someone once told me ... "You cannot sell a product, unless you honestly believe that it is the best of its kind in the world." Which could explain why I've never gotten into direct sales. So basically, the best advice I could give you would be the same that was given to me. If you think one of the party plans is the best in the world, then that's the one to go with.
- I would do some research to see how many reps these direct-sales companies have. I would choose one that interests you...you have to like the products, has a small number of reps (that leaves out things like Avon, MK, partylite, etc.), is marketable to people in your area, and has a low start-up cost in case it doesn't work out for you. I'm an Avon rep and an HomeStyle Specialist with AtHome America. I love Avon just because I can get the products at a discount. I don't expect to make any real money because there are TOO MANY reps in my area...and I'm in a rural area. Just imagine if you were in an urban or suburban area. The reason I chose AtHome America was because there are only a few thousand reps (maybe like 3000 - 6000) and there were only a handful in my state. The company is like a family...not a huge corporation. Plus, I was able to sign up for almost nothing. You may want to check it out. Good luck.
- I am a Passion Consultant with Passion Parties and the benefits are so unbelievable. First of all you are your own boss, you can get up to 40% discount so you get 40% in profit, you can earn free trips and many more great stuff. The start up cost isn't that bad out start up demo kits start at $100 for a 10% buying discount and then there is or next level up that you pay $250 and get 25% buying discount and then there is the kit for $450 and that kits takes you strait to the top at a 40% buying discount and if you can't afford the big one right off the bat there are also bump up orders you can place and get you up into the next buying discount. My very first party I hosted at my home to practice my demo in front of family and friends and I had a $500 dollar retail party and I profited about $200. I have only about 10 people show up. Sex sells and that is why I went with Passion Parties. I looked into Mary Kay, Avon, PartyLite and I just don't see how many people would spend that much money on make up and so on, but Passion Parties is a safe, fun company to work for and they offer women over that age of 18 the opportunity to buy there products without having to go to a XXX store or order on-line that most women are not comfortable doing. Plus you get to sample all the products that, that the consultant carries to each party. Plus another thing is everyone places there order confidentially in another room so they don't have to in front of everybody else. If you would like some more information you can go to my website at jessicaadair.yourpassionconsultant.com. But don't let any of us pressure you into anything, go with the company that you think you would do best in. You want to like the product and feel comfortable selling them at the same time. Good luck with which ever one you choose.
- First and foremost when deciding on a direct sales company, you must find a company with products that you love. Initially, I made the mistake of looking at a company as a way to work at home. I never researched any other companies. I believed what the rep told me about the company, despite finding out too late that she misrepresented some information. I hated the products and the income wasn't there. I left the company, but at least knew what to look for in the next opportunity. So, take time to decide. I currently work for Home & Garden Party and absolutely love it. Having parties allows me to leave the house a few nights a week, my husband gets kid time while I have adult time. The high quality products are very affordable, the Hostess and Designer benefits are amazing. Overall, find what you are going to love to share with others. It's best to ask around and see what direct sales companies are not in your area. Good luck in your search for the company that is best for you. Tracy http://www.hgparties.com
- You definately have to LOVE the product that you will be selling. If you find that you can't decide between a couple of companies. Send for the information, maybe talk to a rep with those companies to a get a little better feel. If you feel something just isn't quite right with (fill in the blank) DO NOT DO IT!!!!!! I know when I was looking for a company. It was also important to me that my hostesses could get a lot of free product for having a show. I also found that having customer specials is a huge bonus. I was with another company that is in the same industry as the one I am in now. Previous customers LOVE this company waaaaaay more than the other one. If you would like to have more info on this feel free to contact me. I won't sales pitch you here or via any other method. tboom01 (at) hotmail (dot) com
