Can soldiers have sex toys during deployment?

One of my fellow army wives put a Fleshlight in her husband's tough box before deployment because she was told by someone that soldier's are permitted to have one "pleasure toy" during their deployments...does any one know if this is true? I can't find any rules on this and I'm not really sure where to look.

3. To be honest, there are no formal regulations covering this type of thing. That would be up to his chain of command, though I don't think he wants to bring that kind of thing up. It is likely one of those things that no one will really care about, so long as he is not doing it in full view of someone else or anything.

6. before i got saved, I always hid my toys, where no one could find them. They never saw the light of day-LOL

8. Plenty of folks take their BOBs (battery operated boyfriends) along on deployment. Nobody cares so long as you are discrete. Don't ask me how I know this. lol...I guess "don't ask don't tell" would apply here
9. If he plans to put the fleshlight up his anus then yes it is unauthorized. Sodomy is illegal in the military.
10. I have sent plenty of my friends blow up dolls as a joke. There is nothing in writing that I have seen that forbids it. Hopefully they don't do a surprise inspection while out there though. We had to go through one when a bayonet went missing.
11. We had whole squad of engineers buy pp enlarger so the they could surprise their wives when they got home. It was common knowledge through out the company. They were attached to us so I never heard the results of their endeavors.
12. I don't think there is anything prohibiting it, (in the AF there isn't) but can you imagine the look on his face and the customs inspector if they check his gear? Priceless!
