I know a lesbian girl at work. She has the most infectious personality. However, she is a social bee. She buzzes around from one lover to the next. It seems like she objectifies as well. Right there, I'd say that's proof that he isn't using me for his own pleasure. If he was he wouldn't have been willing to wait for nearly 3 years to finally be able to be intimate.
