What is a good drink with Cigars?
I smoke cigars for pure pleasure. I usually drink beer, but I've heard of other things that enhance the cigar taste etc. What are some other good things to drink while smoking cigars?

- Scotch on the rocks
- single malt scotch like Glenlivet or Glenfidditch or Oban cognac like Courvoisier sip them straight up or (EGADS! on the rocks) let the flavor 'blossom" on your tongue before swallowing... warming the liquer releases the flavor. I do cheat with the courvoisier... i do a coke chaser before swallowing. Good Luck Have fun!
- i'm in the cigar business and have smoked 6 a day for the last 17 years and the only right answer is single malt scotch.
- Brandy (which cognac is a variety of) is the traditional accompaniment to cigars and vice versa. Although I would not argue with a good Scotch accompaniment.
- cognac
- I prefer Jack Daniels warm and staight
- Captain Morgan Dark. You're quite a gal.
- whiskey
- rum and Coke Gin and Tonic ScrewDriver Scotch With Branch water.
- It truly depends on the cigar and the style of wrapper. As a general rule, you want to stay away from anything that is bland in flavor -- light beers, mixed drinks, etc. You want to find something to compliment the strong taste as opposed to fight it. If you like beer, try a Guinness with a darker wrapper. Single malt Scotch, sipped slightly poured into a warm or room temperature is always good for Cohibas or Maduros. Cognac, inside a snifter is also very good. Try dipping the tip of your cigar in the liquor to help them blend in your mouth. If the hard stuff isn't your thing, deep red wines like Merlot are also good.
- Scotch
- Dirty martini
- What you got?
- I had a very pleasurable experience with Cognac and a cigar once. Others will say Scotch or Bourbon and cigars. I think it depends on the cigar.
- I always have cigars with beer. With so many different brands of beer and cigars it's fun pairing them up. However, now I enjoy my cigars in the morning with a fresh GOOD cup of coffee. They are so much better that way.
- Cognac or an aged port - depends on the sweetness of the cigar tip.
