Hi, I seen a hell lot of HD TVs but he one I have is a Samsung LE46A558 I bought it for £860 (roughly) here's the specs: Full HD 1080p technology with 46'' widescreen format LCD TV Integrated IDTV tuner capable of receiving free to air digital channels plus analogue tuner compatible with analogue broadcasts 3 x HDMI sockets in total for excellent connectivity, 1 side connection and two rear connections , featuring HDMI version 1.3 Screen resolution of 1920 pixels horizontal and 1080 pixels vertical 1080p 24 fps Real Movie mode 30,000:1 Contrast ratio Samsung's second generation Digital Natural Image Engine Plus technology (DNIe+) and Movie Plus Technology Speaker output 2 x 10 watts with Nicam Stereo or Mono A2 and SRS TruSurround effect Anynet+ compatible Teletext level 2.5 Single tuner Picture in Picture capable of displaying second feed source material Wiselink connectivity for JPEG images Auto channel search, easy set up and Smart User Interface technology Wide Coloue Enhancer technology for deeper colour resolution Swivel stand, Gaming and Movie Entertainment modes , Auto Volume leveller Auto wall mount compatible Side connectivity 1 x HDMI, Headphone socket, S-Video input, Composite AV input Rear connectivity 2 x HDMI, 2 x Scart, RF Input, Component In, PC Input DSub, Optical sound out. Right this is a Series 5 LCD HD TV and I really have a feeling that these are going to be off the shelves has these are very old HD TVs it only consists of 30000:1 Contrast ratio I have seen 2000000:1 Contrast ratio. I want to know if I could get a better TV good value I know it’s a good TV but its old (I bought it like 3 weeks ago it was brand new) but there better HD TVs which are nearly on the same price as this. I just want to know if there’s a good deal some where obviously a better 46” or higher TV It would also be good if it was a reliable company e.g. Samsung, Sony and Panasonic ETC…. Thanks AJ
