Should I purchase a "pleasure toy" for my sixteen yr old sis?

I am 22 and out of the house. My little sister is 16 and still lives at home with our parents. She has been asking me a lot about sex and masturbation. We have a great relationship and my mom is just not the type you feel comfortable talking about that with (she is a great mom, but she is very christain/conservative and believes that masturbation is a sin) I love my mom and respect her very much,but I also feel that my sis is old enough to participate in self pleasure. I would much rather her do that than to have sex. I dont know what to do??? Is it wrong to go behind my mom's back and buy it for my lil sis?
